Mlada's Signatures

This is my site for my creations, including signatures I have made, and maybe some of my fantasy writings.  Hope ya enjoy!  This background picture was a fanart done by the wonderfully talented Ashley Cope, bettern known as GlassShard.  I just embossed the picture, added lighting effects, and added more blue.

Image Ready Stuff:

Ah, now this one is a classic.  My first project on Image Ready.  Basically it was like pokemon, but with beautiful animated characters instead...^_^...it was something my forum at the time did, and I enjoyed it for the brief amount of time it was done...The first picture is my only somewhat successful coloring of my sketch of Mlada...even though it still sucks.  The first three characters are from Suikoden III, the fourth is Ghaleon of the Lunar games, the last is of my all time favorite villain, Mistress Nine.
         
This was done during my obsession of Interstella 5555, and the beginning of my major obsession with Leiji Matsumoto.  The poem was some shitty lyrics I wrote to a song I created that was meant to be my character, Sapphire's theme.  Unfortunately, I'm not much for composing, so all I have is Sapphire's Guardian Star lyrics.

Ok, now anyone who knows anything about the villains of Sailor Moon may recognize the sprite I used in this avatar.   Or just simply look at my first picture.  Yes, it is Mistress Nine with some updated features.  It just so happens that Mlada has the same length black hair of Mistress Nine, so it was easier that way.  I added the slit, took the legs of Wicked Lady, and added a scythe to her  :P  I like the outcome though...LOL

Okay, hopefully this won't mess up the loading time for some of you...LOL...For some ungodly reason, I'm a big fan of Mai, despite the fact I usually hate sleezy dressed women with excessively huge boobs.  But I guess her story intrigues me, and I love how she tortures her poor Andy...LOL...This was the only attempt at taking an animated gif and inserting it into a sig.  Man, that took forever to do something as simple as this, and the speed still isn't as fast as I wanted it to be.

Signature Projects:
Keep in mind, I don't know the order of when these were made, so I honestly can't have a timeline and watch my technique develop (what little it would have anyway...)  The names that appear on the sigs are internet friends (well, ones I seem to have lost touch with over a long period of being away from the computer...)

Acira was a real good internet friend that I have sadly lost touch of due to his military and my inactivity of the internet.  I hope he's doing well...v_v...I believe this was the last sig I did for him, and even though I chose an odd shade of green, I think it [somehow] worked.  I could have done better on the background though...

I would have to say that this was my favorite of the Acira sigs...Vahn was his favorite character, and I liked the blending of blue (but looking at it now, I wished I chose a lighter shade of blue so the words were more visible...bah)

Heh, well this wasn't done with Adobe Photoshop, so I didn't have as much ease as I would like.  The sloppy cutouts are done because of that sole reason...~_~...Acira and I roleplayed alot on our forums, and our characters "fell in love"...so that's what this is all about.  Of course, Mistress Nine is a better picture for Mlada anyway, as my drawings are nothing more than just pencil sketches...and I can't color worth a crap!

EightDYuber was another good buddy that I miss.  Man, I've been trying to reach them, but I think they did the same as well.  Anyway...its not my most favorite of his, but he usually like my sigs.  In fact, I think that I made more sigs for him than anyone else...but that doesn't mean I'll show them all!

Okay, one of my all time favorites here!  I'll have you know that finding more than two pictures of Yuber was really hard.  That and in good quality...the main background picture was a fan art watercolor that I adored, and EightDYuber requested a sig with his favorite character (obviously).  This took awhile, but I liked the outcome!

The main forum during this time was EMXX, and we had a series of polls on who we all thought were the best characters.  It was all boiled down to Auron of FFX and Yuber of Suikoden.  So, for the final match, I was asked to make a banner to get more voting interaction within the forum (it was a decent sized forum of around 50 some active members).  I thought I did a fairly good job looking at it now.

This is one of my favorites of the 'simple look' sigs.  I prefer something simple anyway, but I don't know how Takin liked his.

I was fortunate enough to find some really nice quality Trigun pictures for Tidus, and made one of my all time favorite sigs.  I just found out the other day, that even after a year, he still uses this sig from time to time.  Oh, it made me so happy to see that someone still likes some of my works! ^_^

I barely knew Paine, but I had no problem with making this sig.  Now that I think about it, I think I used too much red.  Keep in mind, I did all of these sigs over a year ago, going on two, so I'm critiquing myself on work I haven't looked at for a good while.

I knew this guy at one point, but now memories of him have faded.  Sad, I know...but anyway, I really liked this sig, as I do remember it being one of the beginning ones.  I was picky with the pictures though, as I liked Alucard and didn't want to put any ol crappy quality picture in it!  There was definitely a time period where I liked transparency, just like the Trunks one above, the white border is not actually white but transparent.

My Sigs:
Finally, the majority of the sigs I'll post are mine, as had more free time to make these and fix them (well, some of them)...

Now I have no clue when I did this, but it must have been sometime near the end of last year because Flonne is in it.  Basically, I liked DDR, and one of the songs I liked was Butterfly:  "I'm your little butterfly; green, black, and blue makes the colors of the sky..." were some of the lyrics, hence the color combination.  Jupiter being my most favorite of anime characters was the green, Mistress Nine my next (black), and Flonne of Disgaea my third (blue)...It was more for fun, as I never used it...

Oooo, the most sweetest of all my favorites, Angel Trainee Flonne!  I usually don't like the overly wholesome happy character, but there was something about Flonne that was so adorable and so innocent...She became my favorite of the game the instant she appeared.  Which, her naive and over-dramatic ways made her humorous to me as well as cute.
    
My current signature, as I just recently went back to forums.  I wanted to do something with my favorite pictures of Violinist of Hameln, which was hard since I had little to go with.  The avatar picture was from the movie, which was more true to the manga than the show (although I like the show still).  Bad Hamel...bad!  LOL

Now this was in the time period of the Yuber one, because I remember being fascinated with having the image sort of stand out over the signature.  My first entertaining (well to me and only to me...LOL) writing was a fanfic of Sailor Moon, in which I wanted to focus more on the almost unknwn back story to the Four Generals.  Rumor has it that Nephrite (the man with long hair in the background) was supposedly Sailor Jupiter's fiance, but the Silver Millenium ended so soon that they all died anyway...LOL...who knows...so anyway, I wanted to develop that more, and that's what's with the shitty poem of mine (again, I know, garrr).  I know, the font is small, but it was either that or some major changes, and I liked this outcome better...

This was towards the end of my sig days on EMXX, so I never really did use this one.  I was raised off of songs my daddy would sing to me and my sis, and Leatherwing Bat was always my favorite.  The words is the opening verse of the song, and for some reason, it screamed out Lulu to me...So sad...V_V...well, sort of, cause she does kind of get a happy ending...

Definitely during EMXX, as I went by Moonlight Maiden...What can I say?  Its my all time favorite video game couple!  Andy Bogard and Mai Shiranui from King of Fighters/Fatal Fury.  I liked and disliked the pictures, mainly because it bothers me to see Mai so...buff...LOL...I seem to recall this being made around Valentine's Day or something like that...

This was just right before the days of Adobe Photoshop, so this was made from some Photo software that came with my laptop...It wasn't that bad, but Adobe's better.  Okay, now its of Michiru/Michelle/Sailor Neptune.  Its now at a point where I can't tell if she's my favorite sailor, or if its still Jupiter.  I can relate more to Jupiter's character, but damnit, Michiru is just so cool with her violin!  Ughh...

I had to do this.  It was during the time that the new Justice League cartoon was coming out, and being the big Wonder Woman fan, I couldn't contain myself.  That and an RP was being started with assuming the role as some of the most popular comic book heroes.  I was obviously RPing as Wonder Woman, so this was for that forum.

In Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, it almost got to the point where I said "screw D...I want to know more about Meier and Charlotte"  LOL...but D is just too awesome...XD...Anyway, I reincorporated my childhood song, Leatherwing Bat, as I felt it worked for this tragic couple as well.  That, and Meier is the coolest vampire I can think of.  Now, if only I can get Robert to dress up for Meier for Otakon...*cue evil laugh, then a pause to realize that I'm even thinking that outloud...*  o_O

Back to Disgaea now.  The story behind this?  Well, first of all, remember that this is a comedy RP game.  This was a recreation of a scene in the game, in which Laharl (the boy thing in the middle) is being attacked by big busted succubus-like demons flaunting themselves and saying cute things about him.  Laharl has a hatred towards anything remotely close to love, like lust and sexy bodies.  Laharl then makes a comment about how Flonne and Etna have no affect on his travels, as they are not sexy and big-busted.  That's when the two girls take offense, screaming "Well excuse us for being flat!"  Heh, another reason why I like Flonne...I feel her pain...*cries...well, not really*...The second one really should be in the Image Ready area, but it would make more sense to be with the original...

Hehehehehe....Tis my true favorites of Sailor Moon, the Four Generals/Four Kings.  Yes, they are all men.  Especially the third from the left with the yellow background.  ~_~  Really, I just like the second and last from the left, but the others were cool as well, even if some were made gay for the show for no real reason whatsoever (the two at the end were lovers only in the show and not in the original manga...o_O).  Once again, not an Adobe piece...

I would have to say that I got the most compliments ever on this sig, but then again, most of the compliments came from big FFVI fans too.  I liked the colors, the scene, the font was clear, and the words came from Celes' opera song (in which she is currently dressed in her role, kissing the bandana of her missing savior (lover?  never was made clear if the two were an item) while she waited for his return.  Well, really, she technically finds him, but that's too technical anyway...LOL

YAY!!!  GOEMON!!!!  I don't know why, but I loved Lupin the Third...but my favorite character was the lesser of the main characters.  The quiet thief, living by the ways of the sword and his samuai teachings (contradicting, no?).  I remember that there were many cheesy sayings in the dubs that weren't true to the original script, and I think this phrase was one of them.  Goemon and Jigen are caught in a jail cell, and literally, Jigen pokes his head out from the bars and speaks extremely pessimistic about getting out.  Of course, Goemon comes up with a plan after saying his quote, but they still had a lot of hell to go through in order to reach the Nazi's...LOL...

Heh, this is just for you Jennifer...I just had to do it.  LOL...Back when Jennifer first got me obsessed about Joseph Blanchett's cartoons, I did this using a photo snatching ability off of a program on my laptop.  I remember working forever on the words, as I wanted them to be clear, yet fit.  I don't think it worked, but I've lost the original pictures and the .psd file save of it.  !_!  If you can't read it, it says the same thing that Ark says at this shot: "It's like Satan reincarnated into a cardboard tube!"  Basically, the character on the far right has a Chinese finger trap and doesn't know how to get it off.  I loved their version of the Pikimin, so I had to throw it in to give a Satanic feel to the meaning...LOL

Last, but not least, my current obsession (as of 07/15/05), Howl's Moving Castle.  I had only six different pictures to choose from, and only two of them were nice shots of both Howl and Sophie.  So I had to make do at the time.  I am currently using this sig at my current forum, Temple of the Dragons   It's not perfect, but the images were clean and easy to work with for the most part.  I enjoyed making it, even though I now have a nice art book of Howl's Moving Castle.  Now, if only I can get my scanner working, what possibilities I could have...^_^
